Societies registration act– at least seven members are required to be the members in society.

Indian trusts act– minimum two people are required and there is no limit of maximum members in charitable trust.

Companies’ act– An organization can be registered under section 8 of the companies act for promoting art, commerce, religion, charity or any other useful thing.
